MagicOpen is a utility program which speeds up launching applications and opening files. Under System 7™, you can put aliases of applications and files on desktop or inside Apple menu. But sometimes, when you get more and more aliases, your desktop becomes messy, and the Apple menu gets more and more sub-folders to contains your frequently used aliases. Once you have installed MagicOpen, you no longer have to open through many sub-folders inside Apple menu or your hard disk, you simply just click the name of application or file you want, then it opens for you. MagicOpen is an application. It is not a extension nor control panel; therefore, there is no confliction with other extensions and control panels. You can set up your favorite applications up to 16, and files up to 18(for how to set up, please select Help
from Apple menu or type Command + H).
****** Installation ******
To install MagicOpen, simply put the program itself or its alias onto desktop, when you need it, you just double-click it. When you finish the launching application or files, MagicOpen waits for you to select another action. Please note: if you want to put it inside the Startup Items folder, the Apple menu will not work except About MagicOpen and Help menus( it's up to you ).
